My Things (2019)
My Things is a photographic exploration of the objects I carried and relied on during a specific moment in my life. Through five still-life images, this series captures the objects that connected me to the world. Each image acts as a self-portrait, offering an intimate look at the practical, sentimental, and symbolic roles these objects played in my daily life.
By arranging these items with care, the project reflects on themes of identity, mobility, and material culture. What do our possessions reveal about us? How do they define our routines, relationships, and aspirations? In examining my own belongings, My Things invites viewers to consider their own attachments to everyday objects and the stories they tell.
